THE PRINCIPAL is a novel about James Rahin, a young man whose goal
is to become a Superintendent of Schools. After becoming certified
as a school administrator, James obtains a job as a vice principal.
When the school's principal esigns, Jim is appointed to the
vacancy. His years as the school's principal brings him into
conflict with his superintendent, staff, students and members of
the board of education. James Rahin faces challenges involving
drugs, violence and sex. The sory meld the lives of students
teachers and other school related personnel into a colorful collage
of conflict. Anyone who is or has been associated with a high
school will be able to relate to the story situations the evolve.
The conduct and dilemmas depicted in the novel are being played out
in a school near you.
