This hilarious show is subversive, totally immoral ,very politically IN-correct, and worst of all: addictively entertaining. David Duchovny returns to television as the kind of loser we hate to love. He's a writer who's struggling. He can't write, he's addicted to random sex with a bevy of beautiful women (while forever trying to reconcile with his ex), and his alcohol dependency always leads to his daughter being more responsible than what he is.
The performances in this edgy series are all perfect. With David Duchovny showing an amazing ability to be self-depracating and funny at the same time. And with the story moving along at a break-neck pace, it all leads to a wonderful conclusion. It must be pointed out though, this series is not for the "easily-offended", as there are enough scenes of sex, nudity, drugs and alcohol to offend any prude. The very first scene of the series actually should tell you whether you'll be able to make it all the way through. If you do, you won't be disappointed. (5 out of 5, by Carlisle Johnson)
