Totally not funny
Thu, 6 Jun 2019 | Review
by: Michael S.
Each of these actresses have been really funny in other works, but the two hugely boring and self-indulgent shows here are monotonous, unoriginal, and tragically lacking in humour, The fat one seems to think that simply being fat is always hysterically funny : it isn't ; and her gurning is pathetic. The other wanders about muttering. It's remarkable the audience didnt walk out and demand their money back. Both actresses should be thoroughly ashamed of these rip-off performances. DOn't waste money getting this sad box. IN other pieces, fine : VIcar of Dibley was excellent, and absolutely Fabulous deservedly legendary. Both are capable of being original, clever and funny : they seem to be sleep-walking through these performances
