LEAD THE FIELD By Earl Nightingale
Lesson 3
Destiny in the Balance
A person's world has been compared to a plot of ground. You can
water and cultivate the land and be rewarded accordingly, or you
can let it fall into abandon with no purpose behind it, surrounded
by weeds and debris. It's the same land; it's what you do with it
that makes the difference. Stated as a law by the world's greatest
minds: Our rewards in life will always match our service; or, "As
you sow, so shall you reap." Are you dissatisfied with your
rewards? Do you want more out of life? Then examine your service,
for it's what you put into the world that will determine what you
must get back in return.

Seed for Achievement
What are your unique talents and powers? The search for
happiness begins at home If you seek greater happiness, discover
who you are, and then begin to fulfill your abilities most
completely, which will automatically provide the greatest service
to others. Honesty and truthfulness with yourself is the seed of
"integrity," and integrity, in turn, is the seed for achievement.
Live with integrity every day of your life, give everything you do
your very best, and you will live to reap the abundant harvest that
will be yours.
