I wrote and published my first book "Smooth" some time ago in order
to relate to my daughter things I experienced while on 8 years
active duty with the United States Navy as an officer and Naval
Aviator. She liked the book but wondered what had happened to me
during the early years of my life. That prompted me to write
"Eddie." I am currently finishing a third book that tells about
flying for Northwest Airlines and the Navy Reserve. When finished
it will be a trilogy of sorts. "Eddie" is a true biography while
the other two books are listed as fiction in order to preserve
persons and places that may be sensative. I am a retired Commander,
United States Naval Reserve and a retired 747 Captain with
Northwest Airlines. I have substantial experience in flying and
leadership along with a very candid sense of evaluation of my
fellow man. I admit to a strong sense of humor and can laugh at
myself easily. I currently live in Naples, Florida and Elgin,
Illinois depending on what spirit moves me.
