The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH)
received a technical assistance request from the Oregon Department
of Human Services Environmental and Occupational Epidemiology
office. It concerned reports of dementia and neurologic dysfunction
among Entek International workers exposed to trichloroethylene
(TCE). NIOSH investigators conducted site visits to Entek
International and Entek Manufacturing in November 2004 and June
2005.
