Der Eurocode 3 wird bei europaischen Bauvorhaben eingesetzt. Die Vornorm wird in Deutschland schon angewendet.
Weit verbreitet ist die falsche Meinung, dass der Eurocode 3 bis auf wenige Ausnahmen identisch zur DIN 18.800 sei.
