Feeling small (Book)

This amusing story is written in the first person by a girl who is six centimetres tall, sitting on her grandfather's shelf. Her grandfather invented a device that shrinks things. The problem is, he can't remember how to make things big again The girl in the story is too lazy to do her science homework, so she borrows her grandfather's invention to submit as her science project. Her grumpy teacher, Miss Liddle, demands to see how her 'science project' works, and presses the button A series of hilarious events follows, including Miss Liddle travelling through a dog's digestive system, before emerging and falling in love with the school janitor. The story concludes with the girl being small, and Miss Liddle and Mr Ramsbottom driving off into the sunset."
