The Recollections and Reflections of Henry & Shirley Hudson
include their memories of the of years during World War II. Henry,
living in London, England, experienced the bombs falling around him
and the horror of wondering if his mother had escaped. Shirley,
living in Michigan, recalls what life was like to a young child
during the war years in the USA. It tells of Henry serving in the
British Military and then immigrating to the United States. The
dramatic difference in their cultures and upbringing come into the
scene as they describe their lives together as missionaries, in the
pastorate, teaching, and their retirement.
