Angus Anderson--an aging GenXer and narcissistic real-estate
agent--wants to be important. Specifically, he wants to be an
important writer, but he knows very little about it. But he's bored
with his life and wants to regain his youth and relevance by
following in the footsteps of his favorite author, John M. Darwin.
When his idol is ensnared into Angus' cocktail party and turns out
to be just as disagreeable in person as in prose, Angus sets out on
a meandering quest for revenge.
