John Madison Darwin is a stand-up guy. He's in his early thirties,
and the ennui and apathy of his moderate-success as a government
statistician has caught up with him. After a (disappointingly
anticlimactic) breakup with his longtime girlfriend while writing
an aimless parody of a popular poem, he decides to embark on a
journey to fulfill his lifelong dream: to appear as a guest on his
favorite comedy news program. In order to do this, he sets out
writing the worst possible novel he can... DEAD TREE VERSION is a
satirical, parodic comedy that is "an assault on pop-culture,
