Thirty-three-year-old Leslie Moreau, mother of twins, is recovering
from a nasty divorce. During the last four years, she's established
her own small business, Transitions Consulting, a firm that
provides rehabilitation consulting services for the automobile
industry. Leslie maintains a solid relationship with Tobian
Government Insurance, one of her largest accounts. Life and work
are on the right track. But Leslie begins to worry when she has to
fire Martin Lavallee, the first employee she hired when her
business began to take off. She discovers that he's been
undermining her business and plans to leave her firm and take
referrals with him. The situation gets worse when Martin files a
wrongful dismissal lawsuit. While Leslie fights this, those in
power at Tobian begin to harass her. She fears for her business and
the welfare of her seven employees. "Egos and Arrogance" tells
Leslie's story as she struggles to get out from underneath the
exploitation of a huge and powerful corporation. To overcome this
obstacle, Leslie confronts the memories of this same type of
treatment she received as a child. Juggling the emotions of both
experiences, Leslie must stay mentally strong to keep from losing
everything she has worked to obtain.
