"Reformation's Rib "is a chancel drama detailing the life of
Katherine von Bora (Martin Luther's wife). The historical script
gives an insightful look into the husband and wife relationship
that helped shape the writings of the founder of the Lutheran
church. Originally written to celebrate the 500th anniversary of
von Bora's birth, this easy-to-stage presentation calls for a cast
of three: Katherine von Bora (Katie Luther), Martin Luther, and a
narrator.
"Here is a preacher who has found his voice -- creative,
imaginative, distinctively his own. Yet that voice is offered as an
instrument of the gospel."
Dr. Herman G. Stuempfle Jr.
