Every spring in veterinary colleges throughout America, students are months away from graduating. Sara is one of these students. She has lived and studied in Knoxville for the last four years, and she can see her name with the letters D.V.M in sight. Her next to last rotation is in large animal medicine where she sees and treats, with the help of the internists, residents, clinicians, and her fellow students, the larger species like horses and cows. Quincy is going to be one of Sara's patients. He is a thoroughbred horse with a chronic illness who needs her help.
