The story of an orphan girl whose life is torn apart in world war
two, as South East Asia is devastated by invasion. An escaped
British POW is brought to her village seeking help. Both have
suffered mentally and as their paths cross, their emotions
intertwine with love and desire, madness and hate, religion and
superstition...A psychological epic in which both parties will be
changed forever as they strive to survive the brutality of war and
where the spirits of the forest reveal themselves...
