Within the Weeds resurrects the untold summer of 1990 for the
residents of the small town of Running Falls, KY. The summer began
and ended with a kiss between Brian Thomson and Katy Ray--a pair of
welfare kids, each raised by very different single parents. Between
those two kisses, childhood innocence would be shattered and two
young adults would emerge. The world met Brian and Katy and the
cast of unforgettable Running Falls characters in The Weeds Are
Always Greener, but the life-altering events of the summer of 1990
were never revealed. A promise between two childhood best friends
kept the world from hearing that part of the story...until now.
