Jack is a janitor at Bethel Church who was recently diagnosed with
prostate cancer. He tells the pastor who makes arrangements for
Jack to be baptized and to join the church for the first time in
his life so that his funeral can be held at the church where he
worked for so many years. Jack has a girlfriend, an unmarried
daughter with children, and a son, from a one-night-stand, who he
has never fully acknowledged. Jack seeks redemption and resolution
with all of the key people in his life before it is too late. The
pastor tries to assure him that it is never too late.
