The Rhodesian war and then post-war situation produced certain
schizoid states due to the psychological pain of processing various
forms of physical and psychological violence. This is from the
point of view of a daughter of the war, on the white side. The
processing of the material still remains difficult in this memoir
style of writing, but this manner of delivery is intentional and
reflects the mental states of the ousted whites.
