Made-for-TV comedic Western starring John Astin and Mickey Rooney. Having been abandoned as a young child, Evil Roy Slade (Astin) grows up to become the most notorious villain in the Wild West. However, he finds he has a softer side when he falls in love with schoolteacher Betsy Potter (Pamela Austin). Meanwhile, railway mogul Nelson L. Stool (Rooney), with the help of his nephew Clifford (Henry Gibson) and Marshal Bing Bell (Dick Shawn) tries to bring Slade down.
