An issue of the highest concern for both the Church and society in
Malawi is the HIV/AIDS pandemic. The former Vice-Chancellor of the
University of Malawi here considers the extent to which the Church
and civil society have worked together to address the pandemic in
the region. Formerly a Baptist Minister in Botswana, he focuses on
the experience of the country perhaps most ravaged by HIV/AIDS in
the world.
