Moments before proposing marriage, adult movie store owner, Jon,
reflects on several of his failed relationships and whether or not
this girl is the "right one." After Jon tossed aside his first
girlfriend in middle school to pursue her best friend, he is teased
then spurned by his fantasy girl, a red-headed gymnast. Stunted
covers his twenty year quest to find her equal. Through the years
Jon's dating life is highlighted by mysterious prom night sex,
sleeping with a girlfriend's best friend because she was quicker to
begin birth control, substitute intercourse, living with both his
girlfriend and his mistress, plus lengthy relationships with both a
virgin and a neurotic. While graphically detailing his twenty years
in the dating pool, Stunted features Jon's brutally honest thoughts
which litter each infatuation, infidelity and break-up.
