'The Political Econony of Sentiment' situates changes in the nature
of money & the rise of sophisticated financial structures at
the centre of the Enlightenment. This work argues that paper credit
instruments were causal but critical to the larger epistemological
& psychological changes associated with the reconstruction of
value.
