Im Jahr 2001 hat der deutsche Gesetzgeber durch mehrere AEnderungen der Zivilprozessordnung die Grundlagen fur einen Einsatz von Informationstechnologien im Zivilprozess geschaffen (FormanpassungsG 2001; ZPO-ReformG 2001; ZustellungsreformG 2001). Diese Arbeit befasst sich mit einer der zentralen Neuregelungen in diesem Zusammenhang, der Durchfuhrung von Videokonferenzen im Zivilprozess auf der Grundlage von 128 a ZPO i.d F. des ZPO-Reformgesetzes 2001. Es ist die erste monografische Untersuchung dieses Themas. Die Arbeit will einen Beitrag zur Genese juristischer Meinungen leisten, Reflektionen zu bestehenden Ansatzen und Denkanstoesse zu Neuem geben.
