This research deals with the coin circulation in Hispania in the
2nd century AD, and is based on the numismatic findings compiled in
many and varied works and researches. Chronologically, it covers
the period between the government of Nerva and the death of
Commodus, from AD 96 to 192. Geographically, it spans the Roman
territories of the Iberian Peninsula, which includes the modern
countries of Spain and Portugal.
