Five Deep Breaths is a realistic fiction novel, originally written
for an 8th grade English assignment. This is the story of a teenage
girl, written by a teenage girl. Charlotte is sixteen years old,
loving life - No, scratch that. This is not one of those, "My life
was flawless, until tragedy struck" kind of books. Charlotte is
sixteen years old and just trying to keep on keeping on. Her
brother is her rock, he's what keeps her sane. When Alec himself
crumbles, he leaves so much sediment and damage. Charlotte is lost.
Will she drown in the confusion and hurt? Trust me, as the author
writing this, from me to you, it's not as cheesy as it sounds.
Well, I sure hope not...
