Prior to using the pressure cooker for the first time, wash the pot, lid and silicone seal with hot soapy water. To get rid of any residues or stains, it is recommended to boil water in the pressure cooker ½ full with the lid removed. After that, wash the pressure cooker with hot water and soap and add some oil drops into the bottom prior to use. Clan is after use with kitchen paper. When cooking on electric stoves, the diameter of the pressure cooker base must match with that on the hotplate. If you’re using a gas stove, never allow gas flames to exceed beyond the base of the pot. Should this occur, the outside surface will become discoloured and the helper handles may get damaged.
