Italian paint maker Maimeri decided to create Classico Superfine Oil Colours to provide artists with the highest quality, most pigmented oils, even using real cadmiums. Whites are blended with non-yellowing oils (safflower oil) to retain their brightness and purity.

The range of colours is a perfect mix of modern pigments and those from Italian painting tradition (natural earth colours) – safe and stable. Fine linseed oil is used with no waxes or fillers added, and the finely ground, heavily loaded colours have a wonderful, buttery thick body for the ultimate painting experience. Classico Superfine Oil Colours offer bright and clear colours ideal for any application including thick layers or glazing. They dry to a rich satin glow and the formulas were perfected to balance the drying times of all colours.
