A study about conflicts between men and women in contemporary
Kisii, Kenya. The author argues that male identity, sense of worth
and prestige have been more deeply affected by socio-economic
change than that of female identity. The study emphasizes the need
to examine in depth changing African social contexts within
collapsing traditional structures.
