Sitting in his darkened kitchen-eating dinner alone-Alex Hoffman
looks out the back window into the remnants of his domestic life.
In the end, all he sees is his own refection in the glass. The
empty twenty odd years he spent with his emotionally detached and
materialistic wife Hillary weighs on him. By all outward
appearances, they look like the picture of success living in their
imposing Colonial McMansion nestled in the New England woods. In
reality, this illusion is at the brink of exploding.
