In the wake of a fiery meteor, Loretta is unknowingly thrust center
stage as a long awaited prophecy begins to unfold. Distrustful of
cagey investigators, she secretly conceals nine stones from the
wreckage and quietly places them with anonymous strangers. Despite
her efforts, one by one, each returns, with the last in the hands
of a four-year-old prophet. A SWAT team drops in before breakfast
to confiscate the crystals and deliver them to scientists
desperately working to save the planet. Amid earthquakes and
volcanoes, science finally teams with theology, though ultimately
must summon Loretta's original tribe. From guardian crows and a
wayward canine, to an heiress, a musician and a tequila-toting
prospector, each holds a key toward discovering the truth. Hovered
on the brink of destruction, humanity is forced to acknowledge that
the only true solution must begin and end with the human heart.
