The RMG sector plays a significant role in the national economy of Bangladesh. It accounts for more than 75 percent of total export earnings and is a vital industry employment and absorbs about a third of the industrial workforce. More than 22 lakh people, the majority of whom are women, are currently directly or indirectly dependent on the garment factories. They work at some 4000 garment factories in Bangladesh. Labour unrest and cries in the garment sector has been unprecedented. This has the sector survival of RMG sector. In these circumstances, attempts have been taken to conduct a study to find out the causes, effect and the ways and techniques to mitigate and manage labour crisis in RMG sector of Bangladesh. In preparing the proposal careful and meticulous thoughts have been given to bring all the inputs in this proposal to meet the expected requirements. The contents of the proposal have been designed and presented in such a manner as suggested by the respected course teacher.
