Wellness is an important pursuit in life. Literature suggests that
Leisure Time Physical Activity (LTPA), coping strategies, job
stress and job satisfaction may pose a significant effect on
perceived wellness. Based on the investigation on a group of sport
and recreation managers in Hong Kong and data analysis, the
following items were examined and the results were presented in
this book: (1) whether there are significant differences in levels
of leisure time physical activity, coping strategies, job stress,
job satisfaction, and perceived wellness of the sport and
recreation managerial staff in government, non-government and
private organizations in Hong Kong; (2) the relative contribution
of leisure time physical activity participation, coping strategies,
job stress, and job satisfaction to the managers' perceived
wellness. Hopefully, the findings will provide valuable information
to help enhance the wellness state of sport and recreation
managers.
