As a lover of obscure metal music, I enjoyed this book. The two authors have a nice way of keeping a balance between objective reporting and emotional concepts. What I also liked is the fact that various opinions are included in the book - interviews with different musicians following different viewpoints, church-ministers, record company owners etc. Even people who don't listen to metal, but are interested in the various phenomenons that have spread through this music, will enjoy this book.
