equivalent of the Man Booker. So wrap up warm and join Matti and
the unforgettable community of Pajala in a wonderful tale of

Like getting into contact with a dear old friend!

I've read this book three times over the years and each time I found it different. Even though it's a translation, the stories are evocative- one can feel the cold, hear the music and taste the moonshine and elk stews! I lent it to a friend and since I'd read it so often, I told her to pass it on when she was done. I've told others about it and started realising that I regretted giving it away. I casually checked on Loot and was thrilled to see it was available.I love the book's cover and after receiving it and "When God was a Rabbit" via Loot's reliable and well managed ordering and delivery system, I immediately started reading it for the fourth time!
