Mufaddal ibn Umar was a loyal companion of Imam Jafar Sadiq (asws).
One day Mufaddal was sitting in Masjid al Nabwi when an atheist
entered and began discussing the non existence of the Creator of
the Universe. Mufaddal attempted to debate the atheist but was
unable to. Then he left and went to Imam Jafar Sadiq (asws) to ask
how to reply to the atheist regarding the existence of the Creator
of the Universe. This is Mufaddal's narration of the reply Imam
Jafar Sadiq (asws) gave to him regarding the existence of the
Creator of the Universe.
