The stories in here are the product of an amazing imagination but I couldn't finish the book. After reading most of the stories, I wanted to sit the author down with a box of tissues and a punching bag and ask her about who had broken her heart that she had such a vicious and awful view of romantic love.
Without giving anything away to fans, the repeated theme of killing or betraying your lover was a bit depressing. Betrayal in one story would have been okay, but over and over again? Twisted relationships, revenge, betrayal, love and gruesome death are the order of the day in this book.
