Late Victorian England. When Bella marries Lloyd Massie she
believes she is the happiest woman in the East End of London. Her
wedding is a joyful occasion but a young, dedicated detective knows
that she is in grave danger. Lloyd Massie, the bride-groom, has
already killed once but the police cannot prove it. To complicate
matters, Jack the Ripper begins to terrorise the area and all
police resources are turned towards his capture. Frustrated, the
detective does his best to protect Bella and her sister Lottie but
Massie always seems to be one jump ahead of them and the sisters?
lives are at risk.
