This third volume of the journal Eco-ethica is now being published
by LIT Verlag (Germany). The main theme of this bilingual,
English-French volume is that of a group of philosophers who
examine the relationship between nature and culture in an
eco-ethical perspective - in considering human nature and the human
environment confronted with today's technological conjuncture. The
second part of the book celebrates the 100th anniversary of the
French philosopher Paul Ricoeur (1913-2005), who supported the
eco-ethica approach and was an inspiration to many participants in
the annual eco-ethical symposia. The book includes an unpublished
text by Ricoeur. [PLEASE NOTE: Twelve essays in this book are
presented in English, while six additional contributions are in
French text.] (Series: Eco-Ethica - Vol. 3)
