Hierdie is 'n sinistere moordverhaal oor ’n reeks moorde. Die lyke
wat gevind word, word geposeer om soos selfmoord te lyk, maar almal
het dieselfde selfmoordnota by: “Dit is volbring ...” Vir
adjudant-offisier Ben Hugo is dit egter gou duidelik dat dit nie
selfmoord kon wees nie. Terwyl hy probeer om hierdie verwarrende
reeks moorde op te los, het hy ernstige persoonlike probleme wat
ook aanspraak maak op hom. Sy angstigheid na ’n skietvoorval waarin
hy by die dood omgedraai het, sy rebelse tienerdogter en sy
kollegas wat sukkel om sy bevordering te aanvaar.
