Jenny Watson is a divorced mother of two. Her daughter, Grace, is seventeen; her son, Eugene, fifteen, and they live together in a rat-infested, dilapidated apartment in the middle of gangland. Jenny wishes things were different. She wishes she could move her children to a safe neighborhood with a good school district, where their lives could be filled with promise. Who knew the lottery would be the answer to her prayers?
