21 essays taken from a conference held in Leipzig in 2000 on the
archaeology of ethnicity. The essays range from the Neolithic to
modern political concerns, with many concerned principally with
methodology. Particular areas of focus include the concept of
ethnic groupings in Bronze Age Europe, the Celts and ethnic
identity, and the problems of nationalism and ethnicity in modern
archaeological study. Essays mostly in German with some in English.
