The Jellyfish Theatre is a new theatre venue being built over the
summer made entirely from recycled and reclaimed materials.
Playwrights Kay Adshead and Simon Wu are writing
environmentally-themed plays specially for the theatre. Simon Wu is
an exciting new voice on the London stage. Born in Hong Kong, where
he is already an established playwright, Simon has been living and
writing in London for the past six years and last year he received
an award from the Peggy Ramsey Foundation to support his writing.
His climate change play, OIKOS, was commissioned by The Red Room
and will be performed from 26 August 2010. Kay Adshead's play,
PROTOZOA runs from 23 September - 9 October.
