This resource provides over 70 ready-to-use informal diagnostic tests and other evaluative aids to helps reading specialist and classroom teachers identify students' individual reading problems in order to prescribe effective corrective or remedial instruction.

Each test is printed in a full-page format and is ready to duplicate as many times as needed for immediate use with individual students, small groups, or an entire class.

Sequenced in the order in which they would generally be used, these informal diagnostic aids cover the basic skill areas of phonic analysis (17tests), structural analysis (17tests), and comprehension (18 tests), at the primary and intermediate levels, as well as survival reading skills (14 tests), at the intermediate and upper levels.
