The author's eccentric Cousin Ray Sixkiller, who is a Republican,
underwent a great deal of turmoil in the 2012 election cycle,
rendering him unable to support the Republican candidate. The
process was chronicled in the pages of Indian Country Today and it
is memorialized here for the edification of those engaged in the
ongoing battle for the soul of the Republican Party, or organizing
in opposition to the GOP, or standing with most American voters.
Most American voters, according to Mr. Sixkiller and Mr. Russell,
would sum up the 2012 presidential election: "WTF?"
