This report is the third in a series describing the development of
performance measures pertaining to the security of the maritime
transportation network (port security metrics). This report focuses
on issues related to the mission of the Defense Threat Reduction
Agency's (DTRA) Advanced Systems and Concepts Office (ASCO). This
report represents a continuation of those earlier efforts and
presents a contribution to the continual refinement of the Maritime
Security Risk Analysis Model (MSRAM), the U.S. Coast Guard's (USCG)
principal analytic decision support tool for determining port risk.
