This work examines public discourse during the America
Revolutionary era and offers new insights into faith communication
and public theology in America. The analysis is focused on the
basic synthesis of faith and freedom and the religious elements in
this synthesis. These elements are not tied back to Church
teachings, but instead, interpreted as faith communications within
the discourse of revolution.
