It's Wimbledon 1996 - and tennis journeyman Shane Horne has suddenly started winning matches. Though Shane's wins have got nothing to do with his brilliant tennis technique. Shane is winning because he's made a new friend: Kim, the rogue Wimbledon linesman.
Kim is so much more than a mere crooked tennis umpire. He's also an undercover tabloid reporter digging up all the Wimbledon dirt that's fit to print. Along the way, Kim just happens to be a matchmaker supreme. He's finding love for not just his fellow umpires, but for the Referee, and for the Honorary Stewards and even for the Wimbledon Cook.
