Rambles with the Switcher is a brief but entertaining treatise on
an opening move in checkers, showing how it plays out to advantage,
including some of the common variations. This booklet was first
published in 1916. William Timothy Call (1856-1917) was a game
enthusiast and popular writer in the field, with publications on
checkers, solitaire, and kboo (mancala).
