All ten episodes from the first season of the Emmy Award-nominated
historical drama series focusing on the life and romances of the
young King Henry VIII (Jonathan Rhys Meyers). Set in Renaissance
Britain during the early part of Henry's reign, the series portrays
the passionate and irascible king, his Spanish Queen Catherine
(Maria Doyle Kennedy), his ministers Sir Thomas More (Jeremy
Northam) and Cardinal Wolsey (Sam Neil), and a host of would-be
mistresses and wives. As bold and passionate about his country as
he is about his women, Henry's obsession with ensuring his legacy
leads to the beheading of both friends and foes, the waging of wars
and a challenge to the Catholic Church - events that forever
changed the face of the British Empire. Episodes comprise: 'In Cold
Blood', 'Simply Henry', 'Wolsey, Wolsey, Wolsey!', 'His Majesty,
the King', 'Arise, My Lord', 'True Love', 'Message to the Emperor',
'Truth and Justice', 'Look to God First' and 'The Death of Wolsey'.

The Belt and Road initiative is marketed by the Chinese government
as the "twenty-first century maritime Silk Road" and the "Silk Road
economic belt". The initiative encourages policy coordination,
trade facilitation, financial integration, and transport
connectivity. The Belt and Road initiative covers at least 65
countries across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe,
involving 70% of the global population, 75% of world energy
reserves and 55% of world GNP. Such an initiative is expected to
bring significant impacts to the transport and logistics industry
in the regions involved. The transport and logistics sector not
only directly contributes to the production of transport and
logistics services, but also provides essential inputs to other
sectors such as tourism, trade, infrastructure investment and
management. Therefore, it is important to jointly analyse the
implications of the Belt and Road initiative to the transport and
logistics sectors, the best strategies and operation practices that
the industry can pursue, and the right government policies that
should be implemented in relation to the initiative. This volume
will be the first in Elsevier's China Transportation Series, from
series editor Paul Tae-Woo Lee. If you are interested in writing or
editing for the series, please contact Dr. Lee:

Since the central theme of this book is the transmission of disease
agents through the food chain, we will examine influenza viruses
from this perspective. Influenza A viruses are found in humans,
pigs, horses, sea mammals, and also in wild aquatic and domestic
birds 23]. How are they spread? Between mammals, influenza is an
airborne infection, but between birds, influenza can be either an
airborne or waterborne infection. Influenza viruses of aquatic
birds periodically transmit to domestic birds sometimes with
catastrophic effects; this transmis sion can be either airborne or
waterborne. Less frequently, avian influenza viruses transmit to
mammals and three to four times in the past century this
transmission has initiated a pandemic of influenza in humans. The
method of spread of avian influenza viruses to mammals remains
unresolved, but could be either airborne or waterborne. In this
report we will consider recent examples of interspecies
transmission of influenza A viruses and the possible prevention of
emergence of the next human pandemic which is considered imminent.
The reservoirs of influenza A viruses The available evidence
indicates that aquatic birds are the reservoirs of all 15 subtypes
of influenza A viruses. We will first consider the replication of
influenza A in aquatic birds. In wild ducks, influenza viruses
replicate preferentially in the cells lining the intestinal tract,
cause no disease signs, and 8 7 are excreted in high concentrations
in the feces (up to 10 ."
