The rationale for this book is to review the historical precedents of bilingual educational programs and how it had helped non-speaking English immigrants assimilate into the educational system in the United States. This book is about how viable bilingual educational programs helped shape language acquisition for English Language Learners. Also, whether the English Language Learners/Immigrants or the mainstream will assume the jobs of the future, or if the mainstream will stay in control of the employment through their participation in these dual language programs? It is my belief that bilingual educational programs had worked in the United States of America, and can work in Africa and everywhere else around the world.

Sierra Leone a small country in the west coast of Africa, bestowed with numerous mineral resources has been shattered by greed and tribal differences. In spite of the abundant resources such as diamond, gold, bauxite, iron ore, chromium, to name but just a few, Sierra Leone remains under developed on to this day.

Any imbalance created by the actions of humans has a detrimental effect on human health and on our ecosystem at large. Because there is a relationship between air quality and ill health and air quality is linked with air pollution, the world public should be well informed about the causes and effects of global warming, pollution, in our environment. This is to educate the world public about the importance of reducing pollutants and gases that are causing this global warming problem. I believe this will help a great way in maintaining a clean atmosphere and preserve our ecosystem for our survival and generations to come.
